The University of Guadalajara is an institution that has inherited an educational tradition spanning more than two hundred years. Currently, the University operates through a network model composed of six thematic university centers—each specializing in a specific area and located in the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area.
The educational institution trains highly qualified human resources in various scientific disciplines; it currently serves more than 270,000 students—120,000 in undergraduate programs and 150,000 in high school.
