In addition to the University of Miami, UMC is also associated with IFMSA Brazil , which is the largest student organization on the planet, with more than 1 million medical students in 129 countries.

More recently, the UMC graduated Board and CIGEX launched a public notice for doctorate scholarships abroad, in the sandwich modality, with CAPES resources, where two UMC students were selected.

What is IFMSA?

IFMSA is the largest student organization on the planet. With more than 1 million medical students in 129 countries, it has its vision and values ​​propagated by several National Organizations, including IFMSA Brazil, which was the first association affiliated to IFMSA in Latin America

What is IFMSA Brazil?

The IFMSA Brazil (International Federation of Medical Students’ Association of Brazil, translated to the International Federation of Associations of Medical Students of Brazil) was founded in 1991 at the State University of Londrina. Currently, it is present in more than 190 medical schools in all Brazilian regions and  operates in several axes including humanization, science and scientific production, health promotion, medical education, exchanges, student representation, training and several others.
