UNIVERSITÁ DEGLI STUDI
DI ROMA – FORO ITALICO

Continuing on the path of internationalization, the University of Mogi das Cruzes, through the Coordination of Internationalization and Global Experience – CIGEX, signed another partnership, now with the University of Rome Studies – Foro Itálico.
This partnership will begin with research programs to develop proteins that can adjust the intestinal microbiota and strengthen the immune system. This research will involve the university’s Biotechnology area and will have the direct participation of Professor Dr. Carlos Mateus Rotta, among other researchers.
The forecast is that this will be the first joint work and will also extend to undergraduate courses.

Founded in 1928 as the Physical Education Academy, it has always focused on Sport, Science and Health as research and teaching themes closely linked to each other. A unique case in Italy. The fourth university of Rome is a university where students, professors, researchers and technical-administrative staff experience an exclusive and direct daily relationship. In the red and white buildings of the Foro Italico complex, young people capable of competing at a high level are trained internationally in all areas of sports as athletes, but also as sports managers, researchers and teachers, specialists in sports marketing and communication. There are countless scientific laboratories, where teachers and researchers discuss innovative research projects daily, without which it is not possible to carry out good teaching and impact the development of civil society. Professional skills that are increasingly sought after in our society are trained here, where sport is considered an integral part of culture, people’s lifestyle and the world economy.
