De acordo com o orientador, a revista escolheu o trabalho para ser capa da \u00faltima edi\u00e7\u00e3o publicada. \u201cEste \u00e9 um fato de muita import\u00e2ncia, pois, mostra a relev\u00e2ncia deste projeto\u201d, informa Hilsdorf.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O trabalho \u201cGenetic parameters for loin eye area and other body traits of an important Neotropical aquaculture species, Colossoma macropomum (Cuvier, 1818)\u201d \u00e9 a primeira abordagem de medi\u00e7\u00e3o de par\u00e2metros gen\u00e9ticos com a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de ultrassom e ser\u00e1 muito importante em futuros programas de melhoramento gen\u00e9tico de tambaqui.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Este projeto de estudo integrado de gen\u00e9tica quantitativa e gen\u00f4mica para carater\u00edsticas de interesse zoot\u00e9cnico em tambaquis foi financiado pela FAPESP.
